"The Graham Utilities for OS/2 Version 2.00"
is now ready

Brunswick, VIC, AUSTRALIA, August 31, 1996 -- Version 2.00 of The Graham Utilities for OS/2 is now available. They are the largest suite of programs available.

Version 2 represents the culmination of the last eighteen months of development effort. It features an additional 20+ programs which takes the total number of programs and modules to well over 70. The main addition to version 2 is the inclusion of complete FAT support. This is in addition to the already strong HPFS support which was present in version 1.x. Version 2 also includes a true native 32 bit version of all programs in addition to the 16 bit ones. The new version is available on either CD-ROM or floppy disks. The CD-ROM version includes 32 bit versions of all programs optimised specifically for the 386, 486, 586 or Power PC 603 processors. Also included on the CD-ROM version, are Adobe Acrobat, HTML and PostScript versions of the 423 page manual - which has been significantly re-edited and expanded. "Covering disk, file and general utilities, these programs have a place on everyone's OS/2 based PC. They are a 'drop in' replacement for The Norton Utilities for DOS, so people who are familiar with them will feel at ease using The Graham Utilities for OS/2." said Director and CEO Chris Graham.

Support methods have also been expanded and increased. The Internet has become the medium of choice for support. Previously the World Wide Web has been used as a repository for reference material and updates. As part of the Internet Access Kit which is supplied as a component of OS/2 Warp automatic installation of updates from our own updates server has now been facilitated via the use of the "Retrieve Software Updates" program. Our own WWW, FTP, Gopher, Update and Telnet servers will be available shortly. "These methods allow anyone on the Internet to get what ever they need when ever they need it. We are committed to providing users with support to a level which exceeds all of their expectations" Mr Chris Graham also added.

A demonstration version of the utilities: 'The Graham Utilities LIGHT for OS/2' has been uploaded to various sites around the world. The LIGHT version of the utilities features 19 out of the 76 applications and includes the complete .INF file so that further reading can be done.
